Bridges and Excellence for Sunday

Dear Friends:

Good evening, everyone! Dana and I hope that you’ve had a good week. For those of you who haven’t driven by the church lately, be sure and drive by and check out the bridge! Steve and friends have managed to construct a real live model of the Waco Suspension Bridge. It looks great, Steve! And I love the bridge metaphor! I think you chose wisely. Everything seems to be coming together quite nicely for the upcoming sermon series.

Second, don’t forget to vote on the Robbie Poll! Click below to visit our blog. As of right now, “Robbie will never recover, nor will the Chinese” is leading with 22 votes, and “Three Days” is in second with 7 votes. Question of the day: So what’s the significance of “Three Days”? And why are people voting for that one?!

Now, on to Sunday. If you have time, take a look at pages 63-75 in God’s Answers to Life’s Difficult Questions. Our question for the week will be “How Can I Live Above Average?”. In short, the issue that Warren is raising this week is “What does it mean to be excellent?”. I think this is good material for us!

Dana and I look forward to seeing you Sunday morning! I stocked the fridge with fresh beverages this afternoon, so we’re set with refreshments.

Blessings,

Wes and Dana
