Friends:
Good evening, all! I hope this message finds you doing well. First off, let’s thank the Jacques for bringing our donuts today. Thanks, Russ and Kayla! And they did it even though Jackson has been sick! Plus, it was pouring down rain. Way to go, folks. Next week, Brooke and Kris Tooley will be taking care of us. Thanks, Brooke and Kris!
On the announcement front, Joann Dominguez is looking for help to prepare for VBS. Thanks again for your leadership in this area, Joann! She handed out lots of assignments this morning. If you would like to help, please contact Joann. I think she will be bringing additional work to class next week. Thanks to all of you who are helping!
Also with announcements, Steve May informed us this morning that the babysitter who takes care of Zachary has a couple of openings. If anyone out there is looking for good day care, please contact Steve ASAP!
Let’s go ahead and get to our prayers and praises:
Jackson Jacque has been dealing with stomach pains lately. Please pray that Jackson will get back to full health very soon.
Lots of people from our class are traveling. Vince Erickson is in Oklahoma City. Jennifer May has been visiting her mom. I believe the Sullivans are still out of town. Salley Taylor will be leaving with her girls for an eleven day trip to Missouri. Please pray for safe travel for everyone who is on the road.
We need to pray for Mr. Nash Buhner. He will be baptized next week! Praise God for this great decision by the Buhners. Pray that everything will go smoothly next Sunday.
Shelley has asked us to continue to pray for Murray and Kim Evans. Murray’s mother is not doing well at all. Please pray for comfort and healing for everyone who is hurting during this difficult time.
Let’s pray for the family of Herb Reynolds during this time of grieving.
Joann Dominguez has asked us to pray for her family during some difficult weeks ahead. She also brought a praise that Gabriel will begin a part-time position with Mission Waco soon. Pray that God will be with Gabriel as he begins this important new position. We’re praying for you, Gabriel! Also on the Dominguez front, Joann brought a praise today that things are going better with her sister. Great news, Joann!
We need to pray that Chris Schmid will not float away! Ask God to help Chris to get his flooding under control, both around his house and in his backyard.
Salley Taylor brought a praise today that Haley has been having some good weeks. Let’s continue to pray for her.
Also on the Salley front, she recently received a promotion at work (yea, Salley!) and has taken on quite a few new responsibilities. Pray that God will be with Salley as she begins her new role.

I think that’s everything for today, everyone. Dana and I hope that all of you have a terrific Memorial Day tomorrow. We did not make it through all of our Wesley material this morning, so we will plan to look at that again next week, as well as some additional material. I will send out a message later in the week about what we will read for next Sunday.
We look forward to seeing all of you next Sunday morning!
God bless,
Wes and Dana
