Class Update--May 20, 2007

Dear Class Friends:

Good evening, all! I hope all of you have had a great day. Thanks to the Goolsbys for feeding us this morning. We appreciate it, guys! Next week, we will look to Russ and Kayla Jacque to bring us something to snack on. Thanks for signing up, Russ and Kayla!

Let’s go ahead and get right to our prayers and praises:

The Peru Mission Trip is here! Parts of the Peru group begin to leave very soon. Please pray that God will bless everyone who will be making the trip. Pray that God will witness to everyone they touch in Peru and everywhere else along the way.

We need to pray for Robbie Rogers. He is currently in Athens, Georgia, shooting pictures of the BU tennis team. Pray for a successful trip and safe travels.

Let’s pray for Vince E., who leaves town on Tuesday for Oklahoma City. He will be covering the Big XII baseball tournament. Pray also for a successful trip and safe travels.

Barry and Erica are still out of town on their respective trips. Pray for safe travel for them as well. We look forward to seeing you guys again soon, Barry and Erica!

Dana and I would like for you to pray for Corbin. He has been dealing with fevers lately. Pray that he will, at last, have a week of good health!

Please pray for all of the teachers and students who will finish school this week. Pray for a safe and successful end to the school year.

Ben Sullivan brought a praise this morning that he had a successful week of dealing with difficult HASMAT (sp.?!) response team work. Pray that God will continue to be with Ben as he completes some dangerous work in this area.

Our friend Brian Nicholson will be sworn in tomorrow night as a City Councilman for the City of Hewitt. Way to go, Brian! Please pray that God will be with Brian tomorrow night as well as throughout his service to the City of Hewitt.

Brooke Tooley’s birthday is today! Please ask God to be with Brooke on her special day.

I would like to say a praise for a successful Wildcats soccer season. Thank God for a great eight weeks! (The Wildcats finished the season 7-0-1, but who’s counting, right?!).

Shelley Buhner has asked us to pray for Murray and Kim Evans. Murray's mother is not doing well. Please pray for comfort and healing.

Last but certainly not least, Grayson Goolsby will have her Kindergarten Graduation this week. Pray that she will enjoy this special day!

I think that’s all for now, everyone. Later in the week, I will send out a message regarding what we will read and discuss next week. The section in Devotional Classics we will read is from John Wesley, and you can find it on pages 258-263. I plan to say a bit more about it later in the week when I have time. I am currently at a conference on the campus of Mary-Hardin Baylor, and I need to get this message sent out before something goes wrong with the connection!

Have a great week, everyone. May God bless your work this week.

God bless,

Wes and Dana
