Friends:
Good evening, all. Well, after a difficult few days, us Nulls are back among the living (kinda). Beware if one of your family members comes down with a stomach bug. Bad stuff X 4 at our house. Not the kind of diet I had in mind. Brutal.
Although I'm a few days late, let's thank the Burneys for bringing us some delicious bagels on Sunday (too bad I couldn't participate). Thanks, Brad and Jen! Next week, the Hookhams have agreed to cover for the McCrarys, who have to be gone. Thanks, Jeff and Bernie!
BUNTING HELP
As mentioned last week, Stefanie Bunting will be going in for back surgery. If you would like to volunteer to teach Sunday School to some of our little people, please contact Stefanie at sbunting@fumcwaco.org. She needs to know 1) your hour preference and 2) your age preference.
Let's also be sure to pray for Stefanie as she prepares for her surgery.
OTHER PRAYERS, ETC.
Let's continue to pray for Brad Burney's recovery. He seems to be moving along just fine, but let's keep praying that he will do well.
Vince is either traveling home from OKC today or is already home. Pray for safe travel for Vince.
Dave McCrary is headed out of town for a wedding. Pray for his safe travel as well.
Pam Bartram has asked that we pray for their little one, Bella. Bella will be going in for a biopsy on her arm soon. Please pray that everything will go well for Bella.
Jennifer May has two people from her school that she would like for us to pray for. One of her students, Jadene, lost her grandmother recently. Another one of her friends is going through a divorce. Please pray for both of them.
Last but not least, Joy, Loren Jantz's sister, had a baby last week. The baby's name is Solomon Grace. Please pray for little Solomon and for Joy as she recovers.
Last and least, I'm headed out of town tomorrow for a conference in Plymouth, Massachusetts. I plan to stand on Plymouth Rock and ponder our country's founding as I read my conference paper out into Plymouth Harbor. City Upon a Hill!
Have a great week. See you Sunday morning.
Wes
P.S.--Hope you enjoy the Wildcats photos (thanks, Franci!). Jeff and Loren, send me some for the Jaguars and I'll put them up! (or am I getting the mascot wrong?!)
