Here is the latest. Reese's surgery is scheduled for Noon tomorrow at Scott & White in Temple. It will last approximately 4-6 hours. I don't know specifics here, but I think they are still battling fever somewhat. Reese has a urinary tract infection due to the tumor pressing on her bladder.
There is good news that the CT scans from yesterday did not show any spread to anywhere else beyond the kidney and the tumor. Let's pray for continued good news that the cancer cells will remain where they are.
Brian and Amy have asked specifically that we pray that the tumor will remain in tact and will not burst in any way. Pray that everything will go smoothly and that Reese will be on her way to complete recovery by this time tomorrow night. Brian and Amy also would like for us to pray for Brooke. Pray that she will understand everything they are going through.
I think that's all for now. I plan to head down there tomorrow afternoon about 5:15 or 5:30. I will send another update as I learn more.

so glad to see this blog for updates on reese! i grew up with amy/college roommate, so i'm thankful to know they have such a tight-knit family to lean on during times like these.

know amy sense elementry school. please keep updating so we do not have to "bother" them. thanks for putting this on her facebook so we can all see for now. as a family dx in june with a 2 yr old with cancer we know and understand. keep praying and lifting them up. it work! God in the only way we have made it sense june.
