Will you please add a prayer request to the list? As you know, we went to Houston last weekend to visit Shawn's parents. Shawn's mom has not been well for about 4 years but this weekend we realized how bad she was. Shawn and his brother Jay are going to Houston on Wednesday to take her by force and get her into assisted living here in Waco.
Please pray that Shawn and his brother have patience and make the best decisions possible. Also, please pray that their parents will be open to their help. Shawn's father is a diabetic who has had two heart surgeries and is capable of taking care of himself but not of her too. We have found her a place here in Waco but we are not sure how they are going to react to the situation. When we try to discuss it with them they admit they need help but never do anything about it.
